On September 3, 20 startups from the GITA co-financing grant program were announced by the Innovation and Technology Agency of the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development.

Among the winners were two startups from Caucasus University, CU Startup Accelerator C10 assisted with these projects.

Akaki Kapanadze's startup is VADAC, an online platform for knowledge testing and certification to help companies and job seekers validate qualifications and find the right staff effectively.

Giorgi Robakidze's Startup is a search engine for new and second-hand parts of the ‘Inventor’ car, an innovative platform that effectively uses artificial intelligence to refine search.

The Startup Accelerator C10 will assist the winning teams in project implementation.

100,000 GEL grant was also awarded to Caucasus University alumni Keta Bagashvili and Mariam Kobiashvili for the Beauty Lab project, as well as Irakli Jinjikhadze for the Lupi AI project.

The Agency for Innovation and Technology announced the co-funding grant program for the third time on May 31, 2019 under the Georgia National Innovation Ecosystem (GENIE) project. The GENIE project provided co-funding grants for startups intended for starting / two year old private, small enterprises. The total budget for the grant competition was 2 million GEL.
