If you are a student at Caucasus University, you have an opportunity to participate in the five-day Entrepreneurship Bootcamp — Introduction to Lean Startup Methodology — organized with the support of George Washington University's Office of Innovation and Entrepreneurship, taking place on November 18- 22.
The training will be led by Bob Smith, Interim Associate Vice Provost for Research Innovation and Entrepreneurship at George Washington University, and Kerry Slattery, representative of Office of Innovation and Entrepreneurship at George Washington University.
Representatives from the local ecosystem will also serve as trainers during the bootcamp.
During the meetings, students from Caucasus University and Samtskhe- Javakheti State University will have the opportunity to exchange ideas, form teams based on their interests, and explore key topics related to startup creation. These topics include Lean Startup methodology, idea generation and validation, customer relations, value proposition, business model development, market research, branding, fundraising, financial projections, and pitching techniques.
The meetings will feature training sessions, individual mentoring, and workshops, culminating in a demo day where teams can present their ideas.
The Bootcamp will be held as part of Entrepreneurship Week and the project Entrepreneurship Education - Pathway for innovation, inclusion and quality (EEPIIQ), Funded by Georgia I2Q innovation, inclusion, and quality competitive innovation fund (CIF) and implemented by Caucasus University (CU) and Samtskhe-Javakheti State University (SJSU).
