The fifth Batch of Startup Pre-Acceleration Program CUnicorn, initiated by the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center of Caucasus University, has officially started.
During the opening event, the selected teams presented their innovative ideas and shared their expectations regarding the program. The event was opened with welcoming remarks by Irena Melua, Vice President for Internationalization at Caucasus University, who emphasized the importance of supporting innovation and entrepreneurship within the modern educational environment.
Based on the applications submitted for the Spring 2025 semester, eight technology-oriented startups were selected. These teams are composed of students, alumni, and academic/administrative staff from the Schools of Business, Technology, and Economics at Caucasus University. Priority was given to startup ideas with strong potential for international market expansion.

Pre-Acceleration Program CUnicorn aims to promote innovative and technology-based ideas and to create an environment focused on their practical development. The program provides participants with the opportunity to transform their ideas into viable products, develop business models, and prepare to present compelling investment proposals — all with the guidance of experienced mentors.
As part of the fifth Batch, the mentoring team will be joined by members of the Investment Board of Axel – Georgian Business Angel Network. Participating teams will have the opportunity to meet with angel investors, receive individual consultations, and gain valuable insights tailored to their startup’s development.
The general sponsor of the fifth Batch is Baumer, a company that has been operating for 12 years and specializes in the design, installation, and post-installation service of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) engineering systems.
