The closing event of the SDG Innovation Accelerator for Young Professionals was held within the scope of the cooperation between Caucasus University Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center and Global Compact Network Georgia. The program participants presented their sustainability projects within the scope of the event.
Representatives of the following companies participated in the program: Phubber; Fireflies; Aisi; BL-Sigma; TBC Bank; Bim Cube; MBC; Crystal; GPI Holding.
A total of 4 camps were held at Caucasus University within the scope of the program, where the program facilitator introduced the participants to the UN Sustainable Development Goals, emphasizing their importance and providing guidance on implementing innovative sustainability projects.
Intensive mentoring sessions were also held along with the camps, during which the program participants had an opportunity to receive practical feedback from experienced mentors and develop their ideas into workable projects, that they will implement in their respective companies. The mentoring sessions were led by Giorgi Burduli – Director of Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center and Visiting lecturer at Caucasus University, Nino Andriadze - Associate Professor at Caucasus University, Giorgi Volski – Visiting Lecturer at Caucasus University, and Gabriel Meliva - Founder of technological startup Kvalifika.
SDG Innovation Accelerator for Young Professionals was conducted with support of the United Nations Global Compact and the Swedish Government, in cooperation with Caucasus University.
