Fourth International Conference – Sustaining Ethical Practices in Education

On the 8th of October 2024, the International Conference – Sustaining Ethical Practices in Education, was hosted by the Academic Writing Center of the Caucasus University.

 

The working topics of the conference were such important issues as: Ethical use of generative tools of artificial intelligence, Academic integrity and ethical principles in higher education, as well as Academic integrity and ethical principals in teaching. In addition to the conference proceedings, partcipants also had the opportunity to participate in an ecxlusive online session - the European Network for Academic Integrity’s Panel Discusion on Artificial Intelligence in the Higher Education.

 

The aim of the conference was to share experiences and case analysis among participants, which will provide effective solutions to current academic challenges. The conference was established within the Erasmus + CBHE project “Academic integrity for quality teaching and learning in Georgian higher educational institutions” (INTEGRITY). This year’s conference theme was also motivated by ongoing international conference - Responsible Conduct of Research – Research Integrity and Ethics in Georgian Universities (ETHICS).

 

The conference is held annually and is organized by Ilia State University and funded by the host University. The conference ensures the sustainability and development of the results of the international project.
