On January 30-31, within the framework the Jean Monnet Chair “European Union for Peace, Prosperity, and Security” (EU-PPS) at the School of Humanities and Social Sciences of Caucasus University, group lectures on the topic “Current International Challenges and the Europeanization of Georgia” were held.
The target group of the lectures was the internally displaced person’s students of Caucasus University, although other students also expressed great interest in them.
The meeting was held in two parts. EU-PPS Jean Monnet Chair Professor Guranda Chelidze spoke about the enlargement of the European Union, the dynamics of Georgia-EU relations, and EU new enlargement packages. Specific examples, statistical data, and challenges between the two sides were discussed. The students discussed the prospects for the future relations between Georgia and the European Union. Many interesting questions were asked and answered during the meeting. 35 students participated in the group lecture.
