On February 16, modern-day author Nino Tarkhnishvili visited Caucasus University in the framework of World Book Reading Day and read the miniatures of "Nino's NOTES."
Here is a preface from the book:
"Nino Tarkhnishvili is writing social prose, full of documentary background and naturalism, from the most bitter angle to show you events in your era, in your city, side by side or thousands of kilometers away, usually from the News. It is written. On the main value of human life, on inner freedom. Freedom, freedom of choice. You were what you were, or you were what you wanted to be, and you have that right, no one should ever bother you. The most importantly this book talks about women who sometimes think that they are scared, weak, lonely, they think that when they get back on their feet, no one will support them. This book also says that this is not the case. That girls, women are not weak, cowards, that they can fight for themselves, for their children, for love, for education, for the country, they can fight for peace, at the cost of their lives. "
We would like to remind you that on the 16th of February, the World Book Reading Day was joined by a social campaign by Caucasus University and the challenge "What does the book mean to you" became very popular on social media. # CUreadaloud2017
