On December 10, Caucasus University hosted a public lecture for students of the School of Law as part of the international 16-day campaign against violence toward women. The lecture was delivered by Ms. Eliso Rukhadze, representing “Eliso Rukhadze & Partners,” and focused on the legal and psychological dimensions of violence against women.
The session aimed to enhance students’ understanding of critical issues, including:
- Legal frameworks regulating violence and the key challenges in their application;
- Mechanisms for supporting and protecting victims;
- Psychological impacts of violence and the specific needs of survivors;
- Professional responsibility and ethical standards in addressing such cases.
The meeting concluded with an engaging question-and-answer session, allowing students to explore the topic in greater depth.
