6 March, 2026, Within the framework of the PRODIGE (Promoting Quality Digital Education in Georgia) project, funded by the Erasmus+ Institutional Development Program (Capacity Building in Higher Education), a training titled “Rethinking Students' Recruitment, Management, and Students' Life” was conducted. The training aimed to strengthen the institutional capacities of higher education institutions by rethinking approaches to student recruitment, management processes, and the overall student experience in the context of digital transformation in higher education.
The training was attended by Guranda Gogsadze, Manager of the International Relations Department at Caucasus University, Mariam Davitashvili, Coordinator of the same department, and Guranda Iobashvili, Deputy Director of the Student Services and Monitoring Department. The participation of Caucasus University representatives contributed to sharing institutional experience and reflecting on the practical application of the topics discussed during the training.
The activity consisted of two sessions. The first session was dedicated to the training component, during which participants explored innovative approaches to student recruitment strategies, modern methods of student management, and practices aimed at improving students’ academic and social life within universities.
During the training, particular attention was given to the transformation of student services, strengthening communication with prospective and current students, and developing student-centered approaches that support engagement, retention, and overall student satisfaction.
The second session focused on the presentation of projects. Participants had the opportunity to present and discuss project ideas aimed at improving student recruitment, management systems, and student life. This session encouraged collaborative thinking and the exchange of experiences among representatives of different institutions.
This activity contributes to strengthening institutional capacity and supports the ongoing development of modern, student-centered practices in Georgian higher education institutions.
