Starting this March, Caucasus University is piloting upgraded courses developed within the Erasmus+ Re-Direction project (Redefining Higher Education in a Digital Context). The initiative strengthens curricula in line with EU best practices, focusing on digital skills, inclusivity, sustainability, and security.
Courses and key focus areas include:
- ICT Generic Course: digital information skills, evaluation of online content, ethical and responsible use of digital information.
- Inclusive Communication: principles of inclusive communication and accessibility.
- Sustainable Development: ethical implications of human actions and AI’s role in sustainable development.
- Digital Safety and Security: cybersecurity fundamentals, online privacy and data protection, cyber-threat recognition and mitigation.
- Digital Competency and Problem Solving: effective digital communication and applied problem-solving skills.
Pilot objective: to test and refine the modules, assess learning outcomes, collect feedback, and ensure quality alignment with European higher education standards.
