According to the results of the open competition in News and Intercultural Communication held on February 12, 2020 at Caucasus University, Caucasus School of Media (CSM), the following persons were selected by the Competition Commission and by the order of the President of the University:

On February 12, the closing ceremony of the initiative group project "More Europe in the Mountains" was held at Caucasus University in partnership with Caucasus University and with the financial support of ‘Open Society Georgia’ Foundation.

On February 8, Caucasus University held the defence of MBA student's, Tamar Berozashvili's postgraduate thesis, "The Impact of Refinancing Rate on the Banking Sector".

CSB Professor Erekle Pirveli was named the Best Scientist of 2019 by Forbes Georgia. Erekle is the first professor of finance and accounting.

For the fifth time, on February 8, Caucasus University hosted an informational meeting for entrants and their parents.

On February 3-6, the representatives (Christian Gerhardts, Katja Böttcher) of the European Project Center of Technical University of Dresden held work meeting for 4 days for the representatives of Georgian partner universities, in the framework of the Erasmus + Institutional Development Project “Raising Research Capacity of Georgian HEIs through Developing R&D Units - HERD".

On February 6, personal space at the library as well as an auditorium of Caucasus University Academician Roin Metreveli were opened at Caucasus University.

On February 5, Caucasus University signed a Memorandum of Cooperation with the Berghof Foundation. The Berghof Foundation is a German non-governmental organization that has been working on Georgian-Abkhaz and Georgian-Ossetian peace dialogue for years.

On February 5, Caucasus University hosted writer Salome Benidze on World Book Reading Day. The author read excerpts from her novel ‘The City on the Water’, after which she talked about the importance of reading books and answered the students' questions.

Erekle Pirveli, a professor at Caucasus School of Business, has received a grant for his project - "Assessing Accounting and Auditing Reform in Georgia: Legislative Framework, Level of Enforcement, and Quality of Financial Information".

On February 3-7, Personal Development Week is being held in Grenoble, where students from Caucasus School of Business and Grenoble Graduate School 12th intake are taking part.

On February 1, at 12:00 - Caucasus University held the defence of Grigol Julukhidze's PhD thesis. Mr. Julukhidze is a student of the International Relations PhD Program. The PhD candidate presented his paper on 'The Impact of Russian Propaganda on the Internal and Foreign Policy of Visegrad States from 2000-2016'.

On February 1st, Caucasus University hosted a business workshop for entrants on topics like "What Has Marketing Done?!", "The Role of Strategy in Business" and "Blockchain in Finance".

On January 31, in the framework of the Erasmus + Institutional Development Project “Raising Research Capacity of Georgian HEIs through Developing R&D Units - HERD", the head researcher of Tallinn University of Technology School of Business and Governance Department of Law Archil Chochia and Director Tanel Kerikmäe held an information meeting with the representatives of partner universities. The meeting was attended by Nino Machurishvili, Director of Research Facilitation Department of Caucasus University.

On January 31, students of the Caucasus School of Media Strategic Communication Program defended their master theses.
