A delegation of Caucasus University paid a four-day visit to Edalat University and a Research Institute SITI 1 in Iran. The aim of the visit was expanding and deepening existing cooperation and embarking on a joint project. The Iranian side is planning cooperation with Caucasus University in the field of Tourism. The official part of the meeting was held in the research institute, during which the Vice-President of Edalat University and Director of SITI 1, Dr. Muhammad Sharif Malekzadeh reiterated that both Universities are ready to embark on a mutually beneficial cooperation.
On February 16-17, at Expo Georgia was held International Education Fair 2017. IEFG is bringing together various Universities, in which Caucasus University was also participating.

On January 28-29, Caucasus University's Startup Accelerator - C10, whithin the grant of Georgia's Innovation and Technology Agency held hackathon called - Smart City - Live in a Better City. The event was co-organized by the startup accelerators management company "Blender".

On November 30, Caucasus School of Tourism hosted to the representatives of Japan Tourism Company (JTB), which is the winner of JICA's tender. The aim of the company is to study the tourism development in Georgia and other countries in South Caucasia.
On November 30, at Prof. Mzia Mikeladze conference hall Caucasus School of Media and TV Company Imedi signed a memorandum of cooperation, which includes the internships at TV company Imedi for CSM students.
On November 29, CU students of Batumi branch met with the Chairman of Young Lawyers Association - Giorgi Khimshiashvili. The purpose of the meeting was to inform students about the organization and give info about projects, which gives the opportunity to students of Law School to participate in it.
On November 18, was held CU student self-government elections. By the results, President of Caucasus University's student self-government was elected Bidzina Eradze, and as Vice-Presidents -Ilia Lazishvili and Tornike Gelovani.
On November 18, 2016 Students’ Science Conference on Prospects of the European Integration of Georgia was held at the hotel Bomond Garden Tbilisi; the Conference facilitated by Friedrich Ebert Foundation was organized by Caucasus University, Eastern European University, Georgian Institute of Public Affairs and Tbilisi European Youth Center.
