On May 17, the second student scientific conference of the School of Education was held at Caucasus University. Key competences for lifelong learning were selected as the main topic of the conference.

Students of the Integrated Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree Program for Teachers of Primary Education (grades I-VI) took part in the conference.

The purpose of said conference was to promote scientific research activities and develop scientific potential among young people.

The following works were selected by the members of the specially appointed commission:

• 1st place - Eka Shavadze and Sevda Nurieva

Topic: Research of language barriers of teachers and students representing ethnic minorities in the prism of multilingual competence.

• 2nd place - Lela Shanidze

Topic: study of awareness of literacy competence and its implementation in practice.
