Program Description:
The Master's Programme in Educational Policy consists of two parts. The mission of the programme is to prepare highly qualified educational policy professionals who will contribute to the development of high-quality education policies at all levels and across all sectors of the education system, thereby supporting the country's development in response to both local and global challenges and emerging trends.
The objectives of Part II of the Master's Programme in Educational Policy are to:
- Develop an understanding of the nature and significance of educational policy by providing students with a comprehensive knowledge of the fundamental principles, historical development, and contextual relevance of educational policy.
- Develop competencies in educational policy analysis and critical evaluation by equipping students with appropriate methodologies and analytical tools that enable them to critically assess educational policy processes and identify effective approaches to addressing challenges within the field.
- Develop skills in policy design and effective communication by enabling students to formulate educational policy issues clearly, communicate them effectively, and facilitate stakeholder engagement throughout the policy development and implementation process.
- Enhance the quality of educational policy by equipping graduates with the knowledge and practical skills necessary to contribute to the improvement of educational policy, strengthen its role, and support the country's development.
- Promote professional development and the creation of new knowledge by encouraging students to pursue continuous professional growth, explore innovative approaches, and actively contribute to the generation of new knowledge in the field of educational policy.

In addition to the employment opportunities described above, graduates of Part II of the Master's Programme in Educational Policy will be qualified for employment in research institutes, policy and analytical think tanks, research units of higher education institutions, and international organisations, particularly in structural units responsible for educational policy research, monitoring, and evaluation.
