The Sunday School program on “Current International Challenges and the Europeanisation of Georgia” at the Jean Monnet Chair “European Union for Peace, Prosperity and Security” (Jean Monnet Chair: 101175522 - EU-PPS) has started in the spring semester of the 2024/2025 academic year.

On March 20-21, Nana Sharikadze, Associate Professor at Caucasus University and Head of the International Research Center for the Study of Georgia, participated in the International Conference on Decolonising and Decentering Imperial, Soviet, and Post-Soviet Music Histories at Wadham College, University of Oxford.

The internationally refereed journal "International Journal of Multilingual Education" (IJME), published by the Center for Civic Integration and Inter-Ethnic Relations and indexed in international databases, has featured the article "Binding EU Studies in the Education Policy of Georgia" by Professor Guranda Chelidze.

Caucasus University research project - "Architectural Monuments of the Borjomi Gorge of the 9th-10th Centuries (Interdisciplinary Research)" is the winner of the Shota Rustaveli Georgian National Science Foundation grant competition.

Nana Sharikadze, a Fulbright Scholar and Visiting Researcher at Johns Hopkins University, has spent six months delving into the complex interplay of culture, politics, and authoritarianism in Eastern European academic music.

On January 15, students of the Bachelor’s Program in European Studies at the School of Humanities and Social Sciences, Caucasus University, delivered presentations on the topic “Let’s Get to Know the Museums of Europe”.

The internationally refereed journal The Catholic Historical Review (Vol. 110, Issue 4, 2024), published by the Catholic University of America (Washington), has featured a scientific article by Caucasus University Professor David Tinikashvili. The article is titled “Georgia and the Crusaders: Political and Military Alliance.”

On 4 and 19 November, two meetings of the EU-PPS Jean Monnet Chair of the School of Humanities and Social Sciences at Caucasus University were held.
