The cybersecurity forum Tech-Trek, organized by the Communications Commission MediaLab in partnership with the Scientific Cyber Security Association, welcomed technology-interested audiences for the second year in a row.
This year’s central theme focused on Artificial Intelligence (AI), bringing together leading experts to discuss current challenges and trends in the field. The keynote speakers represented the Cybersecurity Center of the School ofTechnology at Caucasus University, who shared insights on existing risks and possible solutions.

- Professor Maksim Iavich, Director of the Cybersecurity Center — “Security of Artificial Intelligence Systems”: risks associated with AI, cyberattacks targeting models, and defense mechanisms.
- Giorgi Akhalaia, Lead Specialist of the Cybersecurity Center, Associate Professor (Iliauni) — “The New Reality of Digital Habits — AI: Convenience or Threat?”: how personal data is processed and what risks everyday digital practices may involve.
- Professor Vladimir Svanadze, Researcher at the Cybersecurity Center — “AI for Cybersecurity and Vice Versa”: system reliability, deepfake technologies, and machine learning algorithms.
The event concluded with an interactive Q&A session, providing participants the chance to receive detailed answers directly from the speakers.
