Project Launch: University of Young Penetration Testers

In May, Caucasus University, in collaboration with the Scientific Cyber Security Association, launched the “University of Young Penetration Testers” project, under the grant competition of the Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation of Georgia. The project is implemented through the Cyber Security Center of Caucasus University.

 

The goal of the project is to develop cybersecurity skills and knowledge, in particular penetration testing, among senior students in Georgian schools, both from a practical and scientific perspective.

 

Within the framework of the project, the participants will learn the basics of computer networks and Linux system administration, website basics, cybersecurity, Python programming, game theory and penetration testing (ethical hacking).

 

The program is free of charge for students, is funded within the framework of the grant competition SPG-24-307.

 

The project is authored and led by Maksim Iavich, President of the Scientific Cyber ​​Security Association, Professor at Caucasus University, Director of the Cyber ​​Security Center.
