The Bachelor's degree program in Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence offers students a rigorous interdisciplinary education that combines foundational computer science principles with specialized knowledge in artificial intelligence. This program is designed to prepare graduates who can thrive in the rapidly evolving technology landscape, either through continued academic pursuits or immediate professional engagement. 

 

Our curriculum provides students with deep theoretical knowledge and practical skills, creating competitive specialists equipped to contribute to technological advancement both in Georgia and internationally. The program emphasizes both individual technical proficiency and collaborative problem-solving in modern computing environments.

The Bachelor’s Degree Program in Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence comprises 240 credits. 1 ECTS equals 25 hours, which includes class hours and time spent on independent work (midterm and final examinations, as well as homework assignments). 

 

Consequently, the standard official duration of the Bachelor’s Degree Program is four years, but a maximum of six years. After the expiration of the standard duration of the Bachelor’s Degree Academic Program, the students having academic debts, with the view of completing the program, are allowed to continue their education through additional semesters by retaining the student’s status. 

 

The program envisages learning courses of a narrow sphere and of free components:

 

Learning courses of narrow sphere (193 ECTS credits):

 

  • Mandatory learning courses -153 ECTS;
  • Optional learning courses – 40 ECTS.

 

Learning courses of free component (58 ECTS credits):

 

  • Mandatory learning courses of university - 20 ECTS;
  • Optional learning courses of university - 15 ECTS;
  • Free credits - 12 ECTS.

Any person having a secondary education is entitled to enroll in the Undergraduate Program in Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence The precondition for admission to the program is to pass the Unified National Examination. Any exceptions to the Law on Enrolment at Higher Education Institutions are allowed only in the cases prescribed by Law.Mobility to the program is allowed in accordance with the procedures set by the relevant law.

 

Subjects to be passed: 

 

  • Georgian language and literature
  • Foreign language: English
  • Third compulsory subject: Mathematics/ Physics

 

Documents to be submitted: 

 

  • School Certificate (Original);
  • Copy of Military Registration Certificate (for male applicants);
  • 2 Copies of the Identity Card;
  • 2 Copies of Birth Certificate;
  • 2 Photos 3x4 (Also Electronic Version Recorded on CD);
  • Exam Card for The Unified National Exams (You Can Print It from The Applicant's Personal Page);
  • Additional Information Form #1 (Download, Fill and Submit with Other Documents).

 

Foreign citizens are eligible to be enrolled in the program without passing the Unified National Exams, in accordance with the procedures set by the relevant law.For details, please apply to the Department of International Relations.
