Energy and Electrical Engineering

The Caucasus School of Technology offers Undergraduate Program in Energy and Electrical Engineering, that have been developed based on the international accreditation requirements and the current and expected demands of the local labor market. 

 

The program includes basic courses in Math, Information Technology and Physics, which lays a strong foundation to acquiring courses in the Energy and Electrical Engineering.

 

The most important component final requirement of curriculum is the Bachelor’s Thesis. It implies the development and presentation of an actual product by a student or a group of students with the support of instructors. They provide advice to students during each stage of a project development.

 

Internships and Job Placements

 

The program’s structure allows students to be “job ready” early in the program by completing internships and supervised job placements. They have many opportunities for career advancement. Students will be offered to be part of the coordinated internship programs or find a job placement through the support of the Career Services Office of CU.

The Bachelor’s Degree Program in Energy and Electrical Engineering comprises 240 credits.Consequently, the standard official duration of the Bachelor’s Degree Program is four years, but maximum six years.

 

Learning courses of narrow sphere (199 ECTS credits):  

 

  • Mandatory learning courses -170 ECTS;
  • Optional learning courses - 29 ECTS;

 

Learning courses of free component (41 ECTS credits):

 

  • Mandatory learning courses of university - 20 ECTSL; 
  • Optional learning courses of university - 15 ECTS; 
  • Free credits – 6 ECTS;

A person with a complete general education has the right to study at the Energy and Electrical Engineering undergraduate educational program. A prerequisite for admission to the program is the unified national exams, which are provided by a legal entity under public law - the National Center for Evaluation and Examinations.

 

Subjects to be passed:

 

  • Georgian language and literature;
  • Foreign language (English or German or Russian or French);
  • Third compulsory subject: Mathematics or Physics

  • School Certificate (Original)
  • Copy of Military Registration Certificate (for male applicants)
  • 2 Copies of the Identity Card
  • 2 Copies of Birth Certificate
  • 2 Photos 3x4 (Also Electronic Version Recorded on CD)
  • Exam Card for The Unified National Exams (You Can Print It from The Applicant's Personal Page)
  • Additional Information Form #1 (Download, Fill and Submit with Other Documents)
