On June 7, a field lecture was organized in Imereti for the third-year students of the Tourism School subject "Tourism Planning and Site Management".

Students visited the Imereti Destination Management Organization (DMO). The leaders of the organization gave a presentation to the students, where the following issues were discussed:

• Mission and goals of the organization;
• Implemented projects;
• Planned activities;
• Review of the previous year's report;

After the presentation, the students asked questions and received comprehensive answers.

In the second part of the field lecture, the students visited the agro-house "KORENA", where the host - Maiko Kezevadze conducted a gastronomic master class and spoke about her success story, after which she presented the students with authentic local dishes.

The tour was attended by the Dean of the Caucasus Tourism School - Diko Kopaleishvili, the administrative director - Tornike Purtseladze and the guest lecturer - Tamar Akhalbedashvili.
