On April 5, a public lecture was held at Caucasus University for the students of the Tourism School, on the topic - "Reservation Systems and Service Standards ".

The lecture was led by an invited guest - the president of the Federation of Hotels - Shalva Alaverdashvili.

The following issues were discussed at the lecture:

• General assessment of Georgian and world tourism;
• Hotel business - as the largest link of the tourism chain;
• Hotel business in Georgia;
• Managing the hotel as a business operation;
• Pandemic - as a crisis;
• Booking systems and sales structure;
• Business relationship between the transport company and the hotel;
• The role and standards of service personnel;
• Employment;

At the end of the lecture, the guest presented up to 10 vacancies to the fourth-year students for them to join the hotel business.
