From July 12-14, the students of the School of Tourism embarked on a field trip to Guria and Samegrelo. This visit was organized as part of the courses "Agritourism" and "Tourist Resources of the World."
The purpose of the visit was to show students successful and sustainably developed tourism sites.
Over the three days, students visited several notable tourist destinations. Highlights included the ethno village "Sisatura" in Samegrelo, the Dadiani Palace in Zugdidi, and the craft workshop "Orkol Studio." They also explored the protected area of Kolkheti, enjoyed a walk around Paliastomi Lake and the Pichori River Valley, and visited agro- and eco-tourism facilities "Skijis House" and "Komli."
The study tour was organized by tourism school lecturers Nino Tigishvili and Tornike Purtseladze. The main part of the study visit was financed by Caucasus University.
