Caucasus University is the first in Georgia and one of the first in the region to successfully complete the United Nations World Tourism Organization's TedQual certification process in 2020, with the accreditation period being extended by three years this year.

By extending the certification period, it was demonstrated once more that the tourism program of Caucasus University adheres to international standards and prepares students to be highly qualified professionals. Georgia has advanced significantly in the global competition for higher education as a result of this success. It is critical to note that obtaining the certificate entails adapting the program to market demands and adequately responding to them.

The MTO academy administers the TedQual certification system, which is one of the world's highest standards in tourism education, training, and research. This quality system verifies the pedagogical and organizational soundness and effectiveness of tourism programs.

By joining the MTO TedQual network, Caucasus School of Tourism will be eligible to participate in academic staff and student exchange programs, as well as numerous opportunities to share international knowledge and experience. Universities such as: George Washington University, Università di Bologna, César Ritz Colleges: IHCR & UCCR, Bournemouth University, Université du Québec à Montréal - UQAM are also certified by this system.
