On October 13, another field trip was organized for the freshmen by the Tourism School. This time, the students visited the "IBIS BUDGET TBILISI CENTER" hotel, where they got to know the specifics of the hotel's activities, departments and the main components that are important for the hotel's operation.
The hotel is located in the center of Tbilisi and is designed for the budget segment. It opened in the spring of 2022 and in a short period of time managed to establish itself in the market as one of the outstanding budget offers for customers.
It is worth noting that both students of the bachelor's program and students of the new joint three-year program "Hospitality Management" were on the said tour.
The joint program of Caucasus University and Fairleigh Dickinson University (USA) in Hospitality Management is the first 3-year bachelor's program in Georgia, upon completion of which the student will receive a diploma from two universities. The program awards the student with the Caucasus Tourism School Bachelor of Arts in Tourism and the Fairleigh Dickinson Bachelor of Humanities in Hospitality and Innovative and High Quality Tourism.
The 3-year bachelor's program involves studying in Georgia during the first 5 semesters, with Georgian and foreign professors, and during the last, 6th semester, the student continues their studies in New Jersey, USA.
