On May 1, an interdisciplinary public lecture of Professor Giorgi Tumanishvili was held at Caucasus University, on the topic - Modern Technologies and Legal and Bioethical Issues Related to their Development.

Issues discussed at the lecture:

• Consciousness and its immortality;
• Cultivation of artificial bodies and organ trade;
• Genetic editing;
• Transhumanism;
• Legal status of artificial self-developing intelligence under the Law.

A discussion was held at the end of the lecture.
