On October 7, a public meeting was held by the representatives of the Georgian Court Watch at Caucasus University.

The director of the organization, Nazi Janezashvili, spoke at the meeting about the project - "Monitoring of Courts by Citizens", which is implemented by the Court Watch of Georgia with the support of the USAID Rule of Law Program.

It was noted that any interested student can participate in the monitoring of court processes by volunteers.

The representatives of the organization - Megi Shamatava and Salome Kvirikashvili, made presentations on the publicity and accountability of the judicial system. They introduced the students to the problems encountered while working on articles prepared for CourtWatch.ge, an online publication of the Court Watch (a project supported by the National Endowment for Democracy (NED).
