On May 20, the 18th Student Scientific Conference of the School of Law was held at the Caucasus University on the topic - Georgia - Part of Europe.
Students of bachelor’s and master’s degree law programs participated in the conference.
The purpose of the said conference was to promote scientific-research activities and develop scientific potential among young people.
The specially appointed commission, out of 11 speakers, identified the following works as the winners of the conference:
I place - Lika Silagadze and Beka Tavadze, students of the Master of Law program.
Topic: “Protection of personal information in the digital space as an obligation under the association agreement", scientific director Eka Kavelidze
II place - Gvantsa Chaduneli and Natia Tkeshelashvili, students of the Bachelor of Law program
Topic: "Foreign agents law” in Georgia, scientific supervisor Maka Mkhatvrishvili
III place - Mariam Kenkadze and Nino Kakhetelidze, students of the Bachelor of Law program,
Topic: "Possible discrimination of punishment based on the example of Article 378 of the Criminal Code of Georgia", scientific supervisor Davit Muzashvili
III place - Salome Zeikidze, student of the Bachelor of Law program,
Topic: "Birth of a person - a flaw in the Georgian legislation", scientific supervisor Archil Borjadze
The following students of the bachelor’s program also participated in the conference: Lizi Bardachidze, Barbare Askurava, Ana Kezherashvili, Lizi Laghadze, Elene Futuridze, Mariam Tvaladze, Elene Grigolia, Mariam Kurmashvili, Gvantsa Chikviladze.
