As part of the ongoing Librarea Talks series, a meeting was held at the Caucasus University Bookstore "Librarea" on the topic: “Georgia in the Turbulent Zone of Rules-Based International Order and World Geopolitics.”
The event was led by Irakli Koplatadze, former Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Georgia to Turkey, Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina (2013–2018), Slovenia (2018–2023), as well as Chargé d'Affaires to Ireland (2010–2013) and Envoy to Turkey (2006–2010).
The following issues were discussed at the meeting:
- The rise and crisis of the Euro-Atlantic architecture based on international rules and geopolitical factors;
- The goals of the "Foreign Policy Strategy of Georgia" and the U-Turn of the foreign policy course;
- EU Acquis: Chapters of the EU accession negotiations.
The lecture was held in an interactive format, the participants received comprehensive answers to the issues of interest and importance to them.
