The vice-chairman of the Georgian Business Council in Dubai is the vice-president of CU

Dubai Chamber of Commerce, one of the three chambers operating under the umbrella of Dubai Chambers, has announced the establishment of the Georgian Business Council, whose founders are Georgians who have some business activity in the United Arab Emirates.

 

It should be noted that among the founders of the Council is the vice-president of the Caucasus University in the field of research and strategic development, representer of the Caucasus Training Center – Boris (Buba) Lezhava. Founder of Dubai company Invest in Georgia - Temur Mikeladze was elected as the chairman of the Georgian Business Council UAE, Boris (Buba) Lezhava as the vice-chairman, and Nino Chantladze as the general secretary. Beka Goletiani, Mariam Shevardnadze, David Dumbadze, Teona Buzaladze, Khuta Liparteliani and Valeri Naskidashvili were elected as members of the board.

 

The launch marks a key step toward promoting collaborative opportunities between the private sectors in Dubai and Georgia as well as supporting the growth of bilateral trade and investment.

 

The first annual general meeting of the Georgian Business Council discussed ways to enhance cooperation and organise bilateral business events, in addition to exploring opportunities and engaging in the exchange of knowledge and experience.

Country-specific Business Councils represent the nationalities of investors operating in Dubai and, in cooperation with Dubai Chamber of Commerce, focus on promoting bilateral trade and investments. Business Councils serve as highly effective platforms for companies to communicate, collaborate, and build impactful partnerships.
