On June 9, the fifth annual Student Scientific Conference of the Caucasus Education School was held at Caucasus University.
The conference aimed to enhance students’ research skills and promote scientific inquiry related to current issues in the field of education.
The main theme of the conference was The Sustainable Development Goals and the Challenges of Primary Education.
The jury members included:
- Aluda Goglichidze – Affiliate Associate Professor at the Caucasus Education School;
- Nana Moniava – Affiliate Assistant Professor at the Caucasus Education School;
- Nikoloz Silagadze – Affiliate Associate Professor at the Caucasus Education School;
- Salome Chitorelidze – Administrative Director of Academic Programs at the Caucasus Education School.
The jury awarded prizes to the following students:
- First Place – Mariam Machaidze, for the presentation Developing Civic Awareness in the General Education System: Social Aspects of Sustainable Development;
- Second Place – Nino Kapanadze and Ani Akhalaia, for the presentation Environmental Education in Primary Grades: Challenges within the Framework of the National Curriculum;
- Third Place – Elina Kuprashvili, for the presentation Factors Hindering the Use of Diverse Formative Assessment Tools in Schools and Ways to Overcome Them.
