On October 22, students of the pre-service teacher education program at the Caucasus School of Education visited the Museum of the Soviet Occupation. After the museum visit, the students walked to the Mtatsminda Pantheon.
The field trip was led by distinguished historian Mr. Sergo Vardosanidze. Following the tour, a mini-lecture and Q&A session were held. The project aims to help future teachers gain a deeper understanding of Georgia’s recent history so they can better comprehend the mission, value, and challenges of the teaching profession. Similar events are planned for the future.
This activity was carried out within the framework of the project “Roots - The Georgian Spirit”, organized by Mr. Aluda Goglichidze, Head of the Teacher Education Program, and Ms. Salome Chitorelidze, Administrative Director of the Programs.
