PROGRAM OVERVIEW

The Master's program in Education Leadership and Management at the Caucasus Education School is dedicated to preparing education management professionals who are equipped to meet the demands of sustainable development, the labor market, and contemporary challenges in the field, who regard education as a public good, an essential instrument for fostering general welfare and societal progress, and who recognize equal access to education as a fundamental right for all individuals.

 

The program aims to prepare professionals who are development- and results-oriented, think critically, positively, and strategically, possess innovative visions and uphold ethical values, and who:

 

  1. Are change agents, lead transformational processes and development plans for educational organizations, design academic programs and projects that align with sustainable development goals, consider local economic, social, cultural, political, and legal context as well as international trends in the field, and base their decisions on evidence.
  2. Create a democratic and inclusive governance system, promote a positive organizational culture and high standards of accountability, and ensure the continuous development of both the organization and society through effective communication.
  3. Ensure the effective implementation of the educational organization's goals, plans, programs, and projects by optimally utilizing available human, material, educational, and technological resources.
  4. Equally prioritize their continuous professional development and that of their colleagues, adhere to high academic standards and professional ethics, promote employee engagement and motivation, encourage unity around common goals, maximize employees’ potential, and ensure they remain committed regardless of challenges and obstacles.

 

Concentrations

 

Students have the opportunity to choose between two concentration areas:

 

  1. Preschool and General Education (PreK-12)
  2. Vocational and High Education

  • The Master's program in Education Leadership and Management focuses on developing the leadership and management skills necessary for the effective functioning of organizations in today's rapidly changing and highly competitive world, emphasizes change management and transformational leadership, combines both theoretical and practical learning, and fosters research skills.
