DATASECSCHOOL A JOINT PROJECT OF CAUCASUS UNIVERSITY AND SCIENTIFIC CYBER SECURITY ASSOCIATION

Caucasus University and the Scientific Cyber Security Association have successfully launched their collaborative initiative DataSecSchool.

 

At this stage, the persons involved in the project are being trained in cryptography by the professor of Caucasus University, the director of the Cyber Security Center Maksim Iavich; the training in the direction of GDPR regulations is conducted by the associate professor of Caucasus University Giorgi Iashvili.

 

Citizens of Georgia will be able to attend seasonal schools on personal data protection based on European Union practices, GDPR, personal data protection, qualification improvement, and certification as part of the project. The project's initial stage saw the start of training for the project's target demographic of students.

 

The trainings are funded by the Erasmus+ Jean Monnet module and are completely free for Georgian trainees. The educational process takes place on the basis of the Caucasus University School of Technology.

 

The head of the project is: President of SCSA, professor of Caucasus University - Maksim Iavich.
