The President of Caucasus University – Dr. Kakha Shengelia - met with the President of TH Wildau - Prof. Dr. Ulrike Tippe- as part of a business visit.
The parties discussed the status of the project, further steps and outlined future plans to strengthen cooperation.
TH Wildau and Caucasus School of Technology are implementing a Joint Master's Degree Program in Digital Logistics Management, which issues a joint diploma with the support of the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) and in collaboration with the Georgian Logistics Association (GLA). Admission to this program will start in September 2022.
The English-language master's program is the first in the region to be implemented in the field of logistics management. It is unique in its content and multidisciplinary curriculum, which makes it possible to train high-ranking professionals in various fields.
It should be noted that Georgia has a great potential to become a regional logistics hub due to its favorable logistics location. Which emphasizes once again the fact that the demand for qualified personnel in the market will increase and it is important to have professional staff in the field.
Therefore, the digital logistics program is unique for the Caucasus University, as it carries an unprecedented value for the educational space, as well as for the region as a whole.
