Caucasus University is pleased to announce that Professor Maksim Iavich, Director of the Cybersecurity Center and Head of the Cybersecurity Program, together with Professor Vladimir Svanadze, participated in and delivered presentations at DeepSec, one of the most distinguished global conferences in the field of cybersecurity, held in Vienna.
DeepSec serves as an international platform that brings together leading experts from academia, government agencies, industry, and the underground hacker community — establishing a unique global environment for sharing cutting-edge knowledge, research findings, and applied cyber-expertise.
Professor Maksim Iavich, President of the SCSA and Corresponding Member of the National Academy of Sciences of Georgia, presented his research titled: “Fake News, Fake Images: Protecting Image Provenance in the Post-Quantum World.”
Professor Vladimir Svanadze, Vice-President of the SCSA, delivered a presentation on the topic: “From Firewalls to Fragmentation: Identifying Hostile Traffic in a Politically Divided Internet.”
The participation of Caucasus University’s researchers in such a high-level international platform further reinforces the global visibility, credibility, and scientific influence of the Georgian cybersecurity community, while underscoring the University's leading role in fostering advanced research, innovation, and international collaboration in this field.
