On June 13, the Caucasus University School of Law held a student scientific conference titled - Student Perspectives on Contemporary Law.
The conference brought together students from the Bachelor’s Program in Law.
The aim of the conference was to promote scientific research and support the development of young researchers’ academic potential.
A specially appointed committee selected the following papers as the winners of the conference:
- 1st Place - Lizi Kashakashvili: “The European Model of Artificial Intelligence Regulation (EU AI Act) and Its Impact on the Georgian Legislative Framework” Supervisor: Khatuna Burkadze;
- 2nd Place - Giorgi Ghurchumelia: “Employment Law and Related Contracts: Practical Aspects of Differentiation”
Supervisor: Mate Khvedelidze; - 2nd Place - Nata Tabakhmelashvili: “The Effectiveness of Diversion in the Context of Juvenile Resocialization and Rehabilitation”, Supervisor: Levan Darbaidze;
- 3rd Place - Mate Gamezardashvili: “The Exploitation of Natural Resources and the Right to Live in a Healthy Environment”, Supervisor: Zurab Jibghashvili;
- 3rd Place - Lela Guramishvili: “The Prohibition of Political Parties in Georgia: Constitutional Standards and Practice”, Supervisor: Archil Borjvadze.
