Givi Adamia, Assistant Professor at Caucasus University, undertook an academic mobility visit to the Faculty of Law of Pavol Jozef Šafárik University in Slovakia from 20 to 24 April within the framework of the Erasmus+ program.
As part of the mobility, Givi Adamia delivered a series of lectures on “Energy Market Regulation, Competition, and Legal Risks in the European Union.” The lectures covered a range of important topics, including models of energy sector regulation, the role of competition law in liberalized energy markets, the assessment of market power, and related issues.
Special emphasis in the teaching process was placed on the discussion of practical examples and case studies, enabling students to deepen their knowledge of the functioning of EU energy markets and European competition law. The lectures were attended by bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral students, as well as academic staff.
Within the framework of the mobility, meetings were also held with faculty representatives. These meetings aimed to strengthen future academic and research cooperation and to discuss prospects for the development of joint programs and research projects.
The Erasmus+ program is one of the European Union’s key initiatives, promoting international cooperation in education, teaching, and research, supporting the mobility of academic staff and students, and facilitating the exchange of knowledge among partner institutions.
This mobility represents another important step in the internationalization process of Caucasus University and in strengthening its international academic networks.
