Simulated Trial for Future Lawyers

On December 13, a simulated court trial was conducted at Caucasus University Courtroom for students from both public and private schools. The exercise was based on a real criminal case involving allegations of domestic violence, offering participants a highly realistic and practice-oriented learning experience.

On November 27, Caucasus University hosted a meeting for students of Caucasus School of Law as part of the 16-day global campaign against violence against women and domestic violence. The campaign aims to combat violence, raise public awareness, promote prevention, and highlight the state services available to victims of violence.

Public Lecture: “Practical Challenges in Interviewing Juveniles – Georgian and Swiss Experience”

On 21 November, Caucasus University hosted a public lecture delivered by Ursina Weidkun, Swiss juvenile court judge, international expert on children’s rights, member of the Executive Board of the International Association of Youth and Family Judges and Magistrates (AIMJF), and Doctor of Law. The lecture was held in collaboration with Professor Levan Darbaidze and was intended for students of Caucasus University School of Law.
