On December 12, the Caucasus University Student and Organizational Events Service hosted the "CU CUP 2022" chess championship.

More than 60 Georgian and international students from Caucasus University took part in the championship. Sofia Nikoladze, head of public relations for the Georgian Chess Federation, and international arbiter Salome Siradze determined the worthy winners following the tense and emotional matches.

Prize places were distributed as follows:

I place - Saba Maglakelidze (Caucasus School of Technology)

II place - Zura Kevanishvili (Caucasus School of Technology)

III place - Rati Feikrishvili (Caucasus School of Business)

The winning students received vouchers and certificates from the Caucasus University bookstore "Librarea" as well as the transitional cup "CU CUP 2022".
