On September 23, the seventh consecutive football championship "FEFE Cup 2024" started at the Caucasus University campus. The championship is named after Giorgi Nishnianidze (Fefe), a student of Caucasus University.
The championship was officially opened by Caucasus University President Kakha Shengelia and Giorgi Nishnianidze's father, Mamuka Nishnianidze.
In the 2024 edition, 49 teams, including both Georgian and international students, as well as one team from the university's administration, are competing. The games are officiated by referees invited from the Football Federation of Georgia.
The finals of the "FEFE Cup 2024" will be held on October 2, where the winning teams will be announced.
The first-place team will receive the "FEFE Cup 2024" transitional trophy, and teams placing first, second, and third will be awarded gift vouchers of 1000, 750, and 500 GEL, respectively.
The team in first place will compete in various championships on behalf of the university during the next year.
