On November 17, a public lecture was held for CU students in the Caucasus University bookstore "Librarea" on the topic - "Civil society for the rights of persons with disabilities in Georgia."

The event was chaired by: Ana Khachapuridze, Nika Donjashvili and Giorgi Khizanishvili, representatives of organizations - "Changes for equal rights" and "Coalition for independent living".

The meeting discussed topics such as: definition of disability, medical and social model; terms; barriers; legislative framework; universal design; inclusive education; behaviour; label.

The mentioned project is implemented by organizations - "Changes for equal rights" and "Coalition for independent living", in cooperation with the European Union.
