2020 Book Translation Program

We would like to inform you that The Public Affairs Section (PAS) of the U.S. Embassy Tbilisi has announced the 2020 Book Translation Program. Through funding translation of key works into Georgian PAS aims to increase the accessibility and affordability of the latest research, analysis, and popular contemporary literature by American authors to the Georgian students, researchers
and the general public.

CAMPAIGN FOR ACADEMIC INTEGRITY ON THE CU CAMPUS

With the start of a new semester at Caucasus University, a new campaign has been launched to raise the students’ awareness about academic integrity, plagiarism and ways to eliminate it. In the frames of this campaign, flyers were created and later placed in many parts of the campus.

Work meeting with representatives of Technical University of Dresden at Ilia State University (HERD)

Meeting with representatives of Tallinn University of Technology (HERD)

On January 31, in the framework of the Erasmus + Institutional Development Project “Raising Research Capacity of Georgian HEIs through Developing R&D Units - HERD", the head researcher of Tallinn University of Technology School of Business and Governance Department of Law Archil Chochia and Director Tanel Kerikmäe held an information meeting with the representatives of partner universities. The meeting was attended by Nino Machurishvili, Director of Research Facilitation Department of Caucasus University.

Study Visit to Nice Cote d'Azur University (HERD)

On October 7-8, Nice Cote d'Azur University hosted a study visit in the framework of the Erasmus + Institutional Development Project “Raising Research Capacity of Georgian HEIs through Developing R&D Units - HERD" where the Director of Research Facilitation Department of Caucasus University, Nino Machurishvili, was one of the participants. The purpose of the meeting was to better understand university research and development strategy. The agenda included presentations and visits to various labs and research centers. Individual meetings were also held to deepen cooperation. Representatives of partner universities of Georgia also participated in the meetings.

Meeting at Tbilisi State University (HERD)

On February 27-28, in the framework of the Erasmus + Institutional Development Project "Raising Research Capacity of Georgian HEIs through Developing R&D Units – HERD", Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University hosted a meeting for the project ‘Kick Off’, which was attended by the Director of Caucasus University International Relations and Project Department, Irena Melua, Nino Machurishvili, the Director of Research Facilitation Department, heads of partner universities and representatives of the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports. During the meeting, a Project Steering Committee was set up, and representatives of partner universities shared their needs with each other.
