An affiliated associate professor of Caucasus University, Mariam Lomaia, PhD, participated in the 25th Multidisciplinary Medical Conference organized by the Association for Medical Education and Evidence-Based Medicine, where she presented a report on “Otolaryngological Complication in a Rare Disease: A Clinical Case; Changes in Mucosal Membranes in the Context of COVID 19”.

In September 2025, Caucasus University published Collection of Scientific Works No. 11, which brings together the proceedings of Caucasus University’s 9th Annual International Scientific Conference “Science for Sustainable Development 2024” and the proceedings of the university’s 8th Annual Scientific Conference of 2023.

On September 3–4, a delegation from Caucasus University participated in the third international management meeting of the EU-funded project “Research Integrity and Ethics in Georgian Universities”, hosted by Masaryk University (Brno, Czech Republic).

On September 4, at the invitation of Europe Institute, Professor Eka Akobia of Caucasus School of Governance (CSG) delivered a presentation at Queen’s University Belfast as part of the 16th Network Europe Conference (4-5 September).

On September 5, the International Relations Department of Caucasus University hosted international degree-seeking students on campus.

The Dean of the Caucasus School of Media, Nino Zhijilashvili, delivered a speech at a conference in Belgrade about the role and influence of traditional media in modern politics.

A cooperation agreement has been signed between Caucasus University and the University of Turin, Italy.

A study conducted at Caucasus University has been published in an influential Spanish international refereed journal: "Spanish Journal of Human Nutrition and Dietetics“ (CiteScore: 1.2; indexed in Scopus).

The CyberEdu International Certification Exam was held at the Cybersecurity Center of Caucasus University. 13 students from the CU Computer Science program (both Georgian and English-language) successfully passed the exam.

The President of Caucasus University Dr. Kakha Shengelia, within the framework of the graduation ceremony 2025, awarded the title of Honorary Doctor to world-renowned scientists and public figures for outstanding activities and special contribution to the development of Georgian educational space.

Irine Kurtanidze, Associate Professor at the Caucasus Media School, was named the author of the best paper at a high-level international conference.

Elene Betlemishvili, an Affiliate Assistant Professor at the Caucasus Education School and Co-Head of the Integrated Bachelor’s/Master’s Teacher Training Program for Primary Level of General Education, has been nominated as one of the Top Ten Finalists for the 2025 National Teacher Prize.
