On June 8, a presentation of the publication "Liberalism and Georgia" was held on the campus of Caucasus University. 

On May 25, the Caucasus School of Tourism Student Scientific Conference was held at the CU campus 

Under the agreement, the parties will develop a joint Bachelor’s degree program in Hospitality Management. Graduates of the program will be awarded a double degree and will receive diplomas from both universities.

On August 28, Caucasus University and the University of Central Florida signed an agreement on strategic partnership aiming at delivering a joint master’s degree Program in Hospitality and Tourism Management meeting modern international standards. The program will allow its students to acquire theoretical knowledge from the local and international specialists of the field and visit Rosen College of Hospitality Management for internships

On March 23, a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between Caucasus University and the Georgian Tourism Association on the campus of Caucasus University

On September 17, Caucasus University was visited by the Executive Director of the United Nations World Tourism Organization, Mr. Zhu Shanzhong

On June 25, a memorandum of cooperation was signed between Caucasus University and the USAID Economic Security Program at the campus of Caucasus University. The memorandum was signed by Caucasus University President Dr. Kakha Shengelia and the head of the USAID Economic Security Program, Mark McCord

On June 23-24, Caucasus Tourism School hosted the presentation and official defense of bachelor’s degree theses

Master class of Georgian traditional dishes for international students of Caucasus University was held.
