On May 19-22, the final stage of the project "Mock Trial in Human Rights Law of ELSA Georgia (II)" was held in Sairme resort, organized by the European Law Students Association of Georgia (ELSA Georgia).

In the final stage, the Caucasus University team came in second. The team was comprised of - Nino Nasaridze and Davit Sakhokia. Davit Sakhokia was named the best speaker of the simulated process.

The Caucasus School of Law team was supported by Tinatin Oboladze, trainer of the Caucasus School of Law in international and local competitions.

The project took place in several stages during 6 months and 22 teams from different higher educational institutions of Georgia participated in it. Students of law faculties listened to a lecture course on human rights and got to know in detail the principles and practical aspects of the European Court. Based on the written papers, the 4 best teams went to the semi-final stage, and the TSU and Caucasus University teams competed in the final.

The goal of the event was to promote the application of theoretical knowledge in practice among young lawyers and students in the field of human rights protection law. During the course of the project, the participants acquired and developed the important skills necessary for both professional and personal development. In addition, within the mock trial, the participants gained significant experience of being representatives at the European Court of Human Rights.

This project was implemented with the financial support of the Ministry of Justice of Georgia. Tornike Cheishvili, Deputy Minister of Justice of Georgia and professor of Caucasus University, attended the final stage of the event.
