The fourth camp of the SDG Innovation Accelerator for Young Professionals was held at CU within the scope of cooperation between Caucasus University Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center and Global Compact Network Georgia.

On June 26, Kakha Shengelia, the President of the Caucasus University, was elected as a member of the executive board of the Black Sea Universities Network (BSUN) and a representative of Georgian universities.

On June 26, at the Center for Peace Studies of Caucasus University, a meeting was held with CU graduate Davit Esartia and the representative of Georgian youth at the UN.

Caucasus University Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center’s startup pre-acceleration program CUunicorn has carried out its ninth week’s activities. The program participants were introduced to the basic principles of Startup  fundraising alternatives, funding strategy, startup valuation, financial KPIs: Calculations, Budgeting.

On June 26, 2023, at Caucasus University, Gvantsa Kheladze, a student from the CSE English-language PhD program, defended her dissertation titled "The Relationship between Government Expenditures and Economic Growth in Georgia" (scientific supervisor - Vano Benidze, professor).

During the eight-week’s activities of the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center's pre-acceleration program -  Cunicorn, participants met with the founder of Crocobet - Temur Mikeladze, and the Co-Founder -  Giorgi Barnabishvili.

Chandra Dal Pont, GEM program director, paid a visit to Caucasus University. A meeting with members of the Caucasus University administration, as well as applicants interested in the joint MBA program of GEM and the Caucasus School of Business, was held as part of the visit.

On June 12-15, Caucasus University Jean Monnet Center of Excellence for EU Policy Transposition (EUPOLTRANS) conducted an intensive, high-level training course on “EU Policy Transposition in Georgia “, in Tbilisi.

On June 20, 2023, a meeting - world cafe on the topic "Country development/labor market and challenges of primary pedagogy" was held in the Caucasus University bookstore "Librarea", which was attended by elementary pedagogy students of the Caucasus School of Education; as well as teachers, parents, directors representing the school community, and employers from various fields.

On June 22, Mariam Gavasheli, a student in the English-language PhD program in economics, defended her dissertation - "Impact of Political Electoral Cycles on Fiscal Policy Both in Developed and Developing Countries Including Georgia" at Caucasus University. The scientific supervisor of the dissertation was Professor Akaki Tsomaia.

On June 21, the regional director of AUF, Mohamed Ketata, and the head of the same organization in Georgia, Tamar Gharibashvili, visited Caucasus University.

On June 21, Ketevan Gogochuri, a student in the English-language PhD program in economics, defended her dissertation - "Georgia's Competitiveness in Agri-Food Trade with the European Union after the DCFTA Implementation" at Caucasus University.

Caucasus University, National Association of Human Resources (Area, NAHR - European Association for People Management (EAPM), the only member from Georgia) with the participation of its affiliated organization, "Georgian Association of Young HR Professionals".
