On September 8, at 10:00 a.m., at the meeting of the governing board of the Caucasus University, the progress report of the implementation of the Jean Monnet Module “EU-LP-GE” was heard. The presentation about the activities done during the 2022-2023 were made by professors Ms. Ekaterine Kardava and Mrs. Guranda Chelidze.

Orientation meetings with freshmen were held on September 4-6 at Caucasus University. Deans of CU schools and administration representatives hosted them and provided them with detailed information on the study and registration processes.

Nino Berishvili and Yashar Ibrahimov, Ph.D. students of the English language doctoral program of the Caucasus School of Business, participated in the " ISTANBUL 32nd International Conference on Business, Management, Education & Law" on September 5-7.

On September 5^th, Dean of the Caucasus School of Governance and President of NISPAcee, Eka Akobia, at the invitation of the "European Group of Public Administration" (EGPA) Secretariat, participated as a guest in the meeting of the EGPA Steering Committee. The SC meeting was held in Zagreb, Croatia, on the sidelines of the EGPA Annual Conference.

The expedition to Tao-Klarjeti was financed within the framework of the internal university grant of 2023. It was carried out on August 24-30, 2023.

On September 1, International Relations Department hosted students participating in the international exchange programs (Erasmus+/ Bilateral Exchange), who will start their studies from the Fall semester of new current academic year.

Dr. Kakha Shengelia, president of Caucasus University, was on a working visit to New Jersey City University (USA) within the framework of the joint 3-year cyber security program.

The participants of DataSecSchool, business representatives, representatives of academia and public sector representatives converged at Caucasus University on August 15, 2023, for the Annual Roundtable. This event, a significant part of the Jean Monnet Module Project, aimed to foster insightful discussions surrounding European Union (EU) data protection practices.

The international refereed journal "Health Care Policy, Economics and Sociology" of Caucasus University received the European Reference Index – ERIH PLUS (European Reference Index for the Social Sciences and Humanities).

On July of 2023, The President of Caucasus University Dr. Kakha Shengelia, within the framework of the graduation ceremony, awarded the title of Honorary Doctor to world-renowned scientists and public figures for outstanding activities and special contribution to the development of Georgia.

A traditional diploma award ceremony was held in the campus of Caucasus University. Diplomas were awarded to the graduates in a celebratory ceremony.

On July 31, within the framework of the project cycle of panel discussions on the topic "Development of the country (economy, democracy, peace) and the labor market - challenges of pedagogy 2023", a panel discussion on the topic "Key competences - Peace Education and Parenting at Primary Level" was held at the office of the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF). On July 25-28, the students of the bachelor’s degree European studies program of the Caucasus University School of Humanities and Social Sciences - Elene Gudadze and Jaba Jamaspishvili - participated in the work of the summer school "Constitutional Democracy in the European Union: Modern Challenges and Georgia" of the Jean Monnet Faculty of the Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University.

On July 28, within the framework of the project, a cycle of panel discussions on the topic "Development of the country (economy, democracy, peace) and the labor market - challenges of pedagogy 2023" a panel discussion on the topic "Key competences - challenges of teaching social sciences at the primary level" was held in the National Youth and Children's Palace. On July 24-28, within the framework of the program (Erasmus+ Mobility program) funded by the European Commission, which operates on the basis of the existing memorandum of cooperation between the Caucasus University and the Koc University, Turkey, the director of the Caucasus University Center for Foreign Languages, Khatuna Basilashvili, and English language lecturer Nino Tatoshvili, visited Foreign Languages center of Koc University.

On July 27, the Department of International Relations of the Caucasus University hosted the representatives of the University of Tuscia, Italy.

On July 27, Caucasus University hosted delegations from partner universities: University of Johannesburg, South Africa and Almaty Management University, Kazakhstan.

The authors of the book are: Avtandil Zorbenadze, Minister of Labor, Health and Social Protection of Georgia in 1993-2001 and Tengiz Verulava, professor of Caucasus University. The book was published in Georgian and English.

On July 26, the formal diploma award ceremony of IUBAT International University graduates was held in Dhaka, capital of Bangladesh, with Dr. Kakha Shengelia, president of Caucasus University, attending by special invitation.
