On October 21, the 29th Annual Conference of the Central and Eastern European Network of Institutions and Schools of Public Administration (Nispacee) "Citizens' Engagement and Empowerment - The Era of Collaborative Innovation in Governance" was hosted in Ljubljana (Slovenia).

Eka Akobia’s, Associate Professor at Caucasus School of Governance, publication:Public Administration in Conflict Countries: The Case of Georgia was published. The publication is included in the book "Public Administration in Conflict Affected Countries", ed. Jurai Nemets and p. S. Reddy. Palgrave Macmillan.

Ambassador met with the Dean of Caucasus School of Governance, Dr. Eka Akobia. Sides discussed Irish HEIs partnership with Caucasus University, realized projects and future plans. The sides also discussed prospects for the development of bilateral relations between Ireland and Georgia, especially in the sphere of education.

On July 23, Caucasus School of Governance held a thesis defense for students of Master’s degree programs in Diplomacy and International Relations and Public Administration. Students presented their MA theses in front of the defense Commission. Commission members included:  – Dr. Eka Akobia, Dean, Associate Professor; Dr. Sergi Kapanadze, Invited Professor; Dr. Tamar Charkviani, Associate Professor; Dr. Emir Eteria, Associate Professor; Dr. Giorgi Tskhadaia, Associate Professor.

On April 21, the National Center for Educational Quality Enhancement awarded a 4-year accreditation to the English-language bachelor's degree program in Diplomacy and International Relations.

Giorgi Tskhadaia, an affiliated associate professor at Caucasus School of Governance, published an article "Paradoxes of Tolerance: Deconstructive Version" in the journal "Analysis and Existence".

On May 29, the Civic Education Lecturers Association organized a presentation of student civic engagement projects as part of the University Democracy and Citizenship course. 18 civic engagement projects were selected throughout Georgia.

Giorgi Tskhadaia, an associate professor at the Caucasus University School of Governance, published an article in the scientific journal “Distinktion: Journal of Social Theory”

On June 16, a closing event of the "Europe - More Opportunities" project was held on the campus of Caucasus University.

The study will assess the impact of the EU Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Agreement on Georgia and Moldova in 2010-2019
