“Promoting teaching of European integration and increasing EU awareness in Georgia (PROTEIG)" Grant Agreement N 2016-2392/001
Overall objective of the Program is to increase the quality of the teaching the European studies related courses in the Georgian higher education institutions.
Specific objectives of the Jean Monnet Chair proposal include:
- To develop the curricula of the four BA and two MA programs at the Caucasus University throughn incorporating 4 EU related courses in them
- To create a space for dialogue between the policy makers and the student community on the important EU-Georgia related issues
- To promote research and debate on the EU, through yearly research publication
- To engage youth in the European integration related debates through organizing annual conferences on the subjects of EU and South Caucasus and annual Summer schools for young professionals focusing on EU studies
